Custom Calendar

To enable custom calendars, contact the Aloudata CAN team for configuration support.

Custom calendars support the following two modes. Choose and configure the mode that best fits your requirements.

Month-Quarter-Year Mode

Configuration item Description Example
Month start day The start date of a month.

- Month: current month or previous month

- Day: positive N or reverse N
To use the 26th day of the previous month as the start of the current month, configure:

Month: previous month

Day: positive 26
Start month The start month of a year.

- Start month: 1 to 12
To use April as the start of the fiscal year, configure:

Start month: 4
- Month: previous month
- Day: positive 26
- Start month: 4

Week-Month-Quarter-Year Mode

Configuration item Description Example
Week start day The start day of a week.

- Week start day: 1 to 7
To start each week on Sunday, configure:

Week start day: 1
Custom year end date The end date of the custom year.

- End month: 1 to 12

- Mode:

- Last weekend of the month

- Weekend nearest to month end
To use the last Monday of January each year as the start of the fiscal year, configure:

End month: 1

Mode: last weekend of the month
Week distribution within a quarter A year has 52 weeks, and each quarter has 13 weeks. This setting defines how weeks are distributed across months within a quarter.

To make the first month of each quarter contain 5 weeks, configure:

Week distribution within a quarter: 544
Overflow week Every 6 years, one additional week is added. This setting specifies which month of that year the additional week belongs to.

- Overflow week month: 1 to 12
To assign the additional week that appears every 6 years to the 12th month, configure:

Overflow week month: 12
- Week start day: 1
- End month: 1
- Mode: last weekend of the month
- Week distribution within a quarter: 544
- Overflow week month: 12
